Queen
Mary
ShipWreck
Long Beach, CA |
| I had really
looked forward to this event with part of it taking place on the Queen
Mary. Proceeds go towards restoration and upkeep of this beautiful
and historic vessel. It was here that we realized that West Coast
haunt enthusiasts definitely get their money’s worth! With 7
mazes, 3 taking place deep in the darkened engine rooms of the ship,
a dance club on board the ship AND a band playing in “The Boiler
Room” (great atmosphere) it was more than worth the $26 fee.
Our thanks to Robin, Shipwreck’s PR person and hostess of the
evening who escorted us through several of the outdoor mazes, though
they scare the hell out of her (and the staff did not cut her a break!)
More on this haunt in the months to come |
